Turkey, stuffing and toddlers!

Turkey day is just around the corner. Grocery shopping, baking, mixing and basting will all commence on Thursday. The big feast will bring fun, flavors and of course a huge mess. Dishes will pile high, and turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes are all ingredients for a really messy toddler and dining room floor.

Preparing the table and trimmings can be tedious, but preparing your dining room for a toddler mess can be easy. Arm yourself with the right tools and clean-up will be a cinch. Your Mother-in-law won’t have cause for disapproving looks if you follow these simple steps.

Step 1
Have a baby bib & burp set ready to go! Precious little ones will be in their holiday best for dinner. So, be sure to have an equally cute and hard working baby bib & burp set on hand. Wrap your tot in a Dwell bib set and not only will your little will be safe from cranberry dressing, she will still look stylish and dressed for dinner.

Step 2
Use a baby splat mat. There are a few baby inventions that are pure genius. One such product is the splat mat. Made of laminated cloth, baby splat mats come in cute prints for boys and girls. Best yet, they catch spills dropped from baby’s plate and keep your antique oriental rug from being ruined.

Step 3

Make clean-up fun! After all the guests have gone home and your precious pea is running around with pumpkin pie smeared in her hair, make sure bath time is fun. A new baby bath toy is the perfect incentive to hop in the bath. The Sassy Counting Fish & Net bath toy will certainly do the trick. A fun fishing game while you scrub will tucker her out enough to wrap her in a hooded baby towel and plop right into bed.
