First-time Moms Checklist for Baby

After being through it, I don’t envy the anxiety that first-time mom’s feel. Not really knowing what you need and don’t need. Advice being given to you from every person you meet. And, going to a big box baby store is probably the most daunting task of all. Stuff upon stuff, aisle after aisle of gear and toys. If you take your mom, she will look at you like you’re crazy for buying the $800 stroller with toy attachments and chenille cover.

Really when it comes down to it, there are things that you need and things that make life easier. If you are welcoming your first baby home, I would recommend just focusing on getting the things that you really need. After the epidural and pain killers have worn off, then you can think about all the other gadgets that might make life easier.

I have paired it down to a simple checklist for the fist-time mom. This is a great guide for moms in need of guidance and friends in need of gift ideas. Happy shopping and happy birthing!
