What’s black, white and fabulous all over? Classic black & white that’s once again gracing the runways, sweeping the streets and adding an edge to sofas everywhere.

It’s hard for me to call black & white a trend. It’s a timeless DO that we just seem to fall in love with all over again every couple of years. This season’s take combines bold modern graphic prints with softer floral motifs. The yin and yang, the masculine and feminine – it’s all about balance.

Just because you’ve got a baby on your hip and a diaper bag haphazardly slung over your shoulder does not mean you’re automatically excluded from this one too.

I’ve seen a sizeable handful of adorable and versatile dresses that could be worn even when chasing after a sugar-hopped toddler.


And just because she hasn’t learned her colors yet doesn’t mean little Miss Priss is exempt either! Swaddle her up tight in a black & white receiving blanket or lunch together in style with a graphic black dot bib.
